Supported Machine Series

  • Dataproc Master Node: N2 highmem

  • Dataproc Worker Node: N2 highmem

Important

  • GCP does not support Kubernetes-based deployment with RHEL 9 as the default image.

  • The n2-standard-16 (64GB memory) is supported for Kubernetes and dedicated compute machine configurations, requiring machines with at least 64 GB of memory

    • The disk size for each node must be 250GB.

  • The supported Kubernetes version is 1.32

  • The hyperdisk-balanced disk type is supported for n4 instance type

  • Dataproc version 2.2.41-debian12 with Livy is supported.

  • Dataproc 2.2.41-debian12 is certified with Metastore version 3.1.2
