Configuring Permissions for Usage Dashboard

This section describes how to assign the required Azure permissions (such as Billing Reader) to the managed identity so Kyvos can retrieve and display usage information in the Usage Dashboard.

Additional permission for Managed Identity

Assign the Billing reader permissions to the Managed Identity for fetching the usage information.

For this, perform the following steps.

1. Navigate to the Subscription on the Azure portal.

2. Click the Subscription from the list, and click Access control (IAM) option.

3. Click Add > Add role assignment.

4. Search and select the Billing Reader permission. Click Next.

5. In the Assign access to, select the Managed Identity option and provide the Managed Identity and Select the members.

6. Click Next and Save.
