Adding dynamic group fields for worksheet and dashboard
Overview
Kyvos supports grouping dimension attributes data members into logical, user-defined groups. This feature enables users to organize related data members into meaningful business categories for easier analysis and reporting. For example, when analyzing sales by country, users may group the USA, Canada, and Mexico into a logical group called North America. Similarly, countries such as France, Germany, and Italy can be grouped into Europe.
Once created, the logical group field becomes a new dimension attribute and can be used across worksheets and dashboards.
Key capabilities
This feature enables users to:
Create logical groups of dimension attributes
Organize data into business-relevant categories
Use group fields in filters, sorting, highlighting, and visualizations
Reuse groups across worksheets and dashboards
Export dashboards and worksheets containing grouped data
All logical group fields are saved at the workbook level and remain available across workbook entities.
