Connection

At the top level, a Query Object includes the following properties:
Property | Description |

Name | Enter a name for the Query Object. This name is used for identification in the repository and is visible when designing reports. |
Connection | Select the data connection to be used at run time: Default – Uses the default connection determined by user selection or server configuration priority. Connection Name – Always uses the selected named connection, regardless of the default or user selection. |
These properties define the base configuration for how the Query Object will behave and from where it will extract data during execution.
