Delivery via Publish

You can publish a report with a pre-set validity period.
Steps to Publish a Report
Select the Publish checkbox.
In Report Format, select the required output format.
Publishing in a format saves time when viewing the report.
Even if published in one format, you can still view the report in other formats (except RAW TEXT).
Note
Reports published in RAW TEXT are not available for viewing in any other format.
Configure delivery options based on the selected format. Examples:
Zip before publishing.
Ignore page breaks.
Apply options specific to CSV or Excel.
In Save In, click the object icon to open the object selector and choose the target folder.
Use features like filtering, sorting, and multiple views to locate folders quickly.
To save in the user’s working folder, select User’s Working Folder.
Specify a File Name.
For uniqueness, add a timestamp by selecting Suffix Timestamp Format and choosing a date format.
Select access type:
Private: Only you can view the report.
Public: All users can access the report.
To generate a permanent link:
Select the Permalink for last saved instance checkbox.
Specify:
View Output In: Output format.
Access Code (optional): Protects access to the link.
Click Generate to create the link.
Note
Permalink is a license-controlled feature.
Validity Options
Published reports are accessible only during their validity period. After expiry, reports are automatically removed.

Note
After expiry, reports cannot be retrieved.
Important
Reports are stored on the Report Server. Always set an expiry date to free server space. To retain outputs, back up reports before expiry.
Using Parameters in Fields
You can include parameter values in free-form entry fields (Email, Publish, Upload).
Enclose the parameter name in
<%and%>.Example:
Sales<%CountryCode%>Aug2025Here,
CountryCodeis replaced with its actual value when the report runs.
