Kyvos Reporting Tasks

A task defines the report to be executed and the associated delivery options. Tasks are created and stored in the Kyvos Reporting repository and are selected during job setup.

You can create a task from the Add Task page. All created tasks are listed on the Tasks page.

Opening the Tasks Page

To open the Tasks page, go to the Jobs page and select Task List.

The Tasks page allows you to:

  • View a list of existing tasks

  • Create, modify, or delete tasks

  • Navigate to the list of associated Schedules and Jobs

Task List Display

  • The page supports up to 4,000 tasks.

  • By default, the first 500 tasks are displayed.

  • You can change the Show value to display 100, 500, 1000, or 4000 tasks.

  • Use the pagination toolbar to navigate between pages.

Filtering Tasks

To narrow down the list, use the Filters pane:

  • When the page opens, the Filters pane is collapsed.

  • Click the filter icon or any filter field to expand it.

  • The pane displays current filter settings.

You can filter tasks using the following options:

Task Name Contains

Enter characters to match against task names (e.g., 2025 to match all tasks containing "2025").

Report Name

Select the report associated with the task. Use the object selector to browse deployed reports.

Select Owner

Specify the Organization and User who owns the task.

Private Owned By

Choose from None, Selected User, Selected Org, or All.

Public Owned By

Choose from None, Selected User, Selected Org, or All.

Note

Super administrators can view all public tasks and self-owned private tasks by default.

To apply filters:

  1. Specify one or more filter criteria.

  2. Click Apply. Matching tasks appear in the Result area.

Result Area

The Result area displays tasks that meet the filter criteria. For each task, the Task Name and Owner are shown.

  • Click anywhere on a task row to view or modify its details.

  • Click the Actions menu () to access more options.

  • Add Like
    Create a new task using the same settings as an existing one. When you click Add Like, the Task Details page opens with prefilled information.

    Change the Name and any other fields to complete the new task. This speeds up task creation and reduces errors.

  • Modify
    Open the task in the Task Details page to make and save changes.

  • Delete
    Delete the selected task.

    Note: You cannot delete a task that is currently associated with a job.

  • Associated Job List
    View a list of all jobs that are linked to the selected task.
