Migrating workbooks from other sources to Kyvos

To migrate a workbook from other sources to Kyvos, follow these steps.

1. Open the existing workbook that you want to migrate

2. Create a Kyvos Excel Add-in OAuth connection. For example, create a new connection named Kyvos connection.

3. After authentication, in the Manage Connections dialog, click the plus icon to expand the folder in the Select Semantic Model section. Select the semantic model that you want to migrate.

4. Click Save and then click Close.

5. Go to the Data menu, click Properties, then select the Definition tab.

6. Click Browse to locate the path ..\Documents\My Data Sources where your Kyvos Excel Add-in connection is saved by default. For example, C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\My Data Sources

7. Now, select the Kyvos connection to migrate and click Open, and then click Ok.

Your workbook will migrate to the Kyvos Excel Add-in OAuth connection.
