Working with Studio Reports Barcodes

You can use the Barcode control in Kyvos Reporting Studio to represent encoded data such as product type, size, manufacturer, and a check digit used for validation. When used in a report, barcode data helps systems scan and verify the encoded values accurately.
Inserting a Barcode
You can insert a barcode into a report using either of the following methods:
On the Kyvos Reporting Studio toolbar, click the Barcode icon.
Go to the Insert menu and click Barcode.
The barcode control can be placed in any section of the report layout, including:
Report Header/Footer
Page Header/Footer
Group Header/Footer
Detail section
Note
Depending on the selected barcode style, the control accepts either numeric or string values.
