Uploading the Report
Applies to: Kyvos Reporting
You can configure Kyvos Reporting to generate reports in a selected output format and upload them to an FTP server or a shared network location.
The report output is generated in the specified format and uploaded using the selected options. For example, you can zip the file before publishing, ignore page breaks, or apply options specific to CSV or Excel output.
Uploading to an FTP Server
Use this option to upload a report to your website and make it available to visitors.
Steps:
In Upload Type, select FTP.
(Optional) To upload to a secure FTP server, select Secure or Use PASV mode.
Kyvos Reporting uses Secure Shell Protocol (SSH) (TCP port 22) for secure file transfer.
Most FTP servers use Passive mode. Clear Use PASV mode only if your server does not use it.

Uploading to a Shared Folder
Use this option to save the report to a shared network folder so users can access it directly.
Steps:
In Upload Type, select Shared Folder.

Upload Execution Options
Option | Description |

Upload Now | Uploads the report immediately and displays the Report Status screen with the result (success or failure). |
Upload in Background | Starts the upload process in the background and redirects you to the Report Execution Status screen, where you can monitor execution of all background reports. |
Canceling a Report Request
When report execution begins, a Processing… message appears.
To cancel execution, click Cancel Request.
If the cancellation is unsuccessful, Kyvos Reporting displays an error page with the sequence of errors that caused the failure.
Click Details on the error page to view more information and suggested resolutions.
Handling Errors
If an operation fails, Kyvos Reporting displays an error page showing the sequence of errors that led to the failure.
Review the error sequence.
Click Details for troubleshooting guidance.
Repeat Report Execution
If a report is already being executed and you request execution again with the same parameters, Kyvos Reporting handles it based on application configuration:
Continue the current execution and process the new request.
Continue the current execution and reject the new request.
Prompt you to either:
Cancel the current execution and start the new one, or
Cancel the new request.
