Setting Portal Preferences

You can personalize your experience in Kyvos Reporting by setting preferences under the Portal Preferences section on the Preferences page.

The following preferences are available:

  • Default Locale
    Select the preferred locale to be applied at login. This setting affects the display language and formatting of date and time values across the portal.

  • Default Time Zone
    Choose the time zone for your report execution context. The application converts date/time fields based on this selection.
    To use your browser’s time zone, select the Use My Browser Time Zone checkbox. This setting is used only if no time zone is specified during login.

  • Default Portal Theme
    Select the theme to be applied on login. Available options: Default, Dark, or Marigold.

  • Default Print Option
    Specify how PDF reports are handled when using the Print action:

    • View PDF: Opens the PDF in a new browser tab.

    • Download PDF: Downloads the PDF to your system for printing.

  • Default Report Format
    Select the default output format for reports. Supported formats include HTML, Acrobat PDF, Comma Separated, and others.

  • Default Ad hoc Template
    Choose the ad hoc template that should be preselected when designing new ad hoc reports.

  • Recent Report Count
    Define how many recent reports should be shown on the My Reports page.

  • Working Folder
    Set a default folder to simplify navigation across various pages.
    To set the working folder:

    1. Ensure the folder already exists.

    2. Click the forward arrow button.

    3. Use the object selector to choose the folder.

  • Entity Types
    Select which entity types (such as Query Object, Report) should appear by default under the Explorer tab.

  • Entity Type Properties
    Specify which properties should be displayed for the selected entity types in the Explorer tab.
