Prerequisites to deploy Kyvos using Dedicated Compute Cluster

• Permissions to be added for configuring a dedicated compute cluster. These permissions need to be added to the Kyvos service account.

  • compute.instanceGroups.list

  • compute.instanceGroups.get

  • compute.instanceGroupManagers.get

  • compute.instanceGroupManagers.update

• The default disk size on a dedicated Virtual Machine is 250 GB.

• The minimum machine configuration for the dedicated compute cluster is n2-standard-16

• When configuring the dedicated compute cluster post-deployment, the bucket and working directory used by the instance group must match those used during deployment.

• A dedicated compute cluster must be created using kyvosparams.tfvars, or the instance group must be included in the bootstrap process.
