Saving the Report layout in Power Viewer

Applies to: Kyvos Reporting

After making changes to a report in the HTML Power Viewer, you can save the modified layout for future use. This preserves settings such as grouping, totals, sorting, column positions, and visual configurations.

To Save the Layout

1. Right-click anywhere on the report (except on the column header).
   
   

   Open

   

   A context menu appears.

2. Click Save Layout As.
   The Save Report Layout As dialog box opens.

In the dialog box:

• Category: Select the folder in which you want to save the report layout.

• Report Name: Enter a name for the report.

• Visibility:

  • Select Public to make the report accessible to all users.

  • Select Private to restrict access to yourself.

• Description: Enter a brief description to help identify the report.

3. Click Save As.

A confirmation dialog appears.

In the confirmation dialog:

• Click OK to save the layout and continue working on the updated output.

• Click Cancel to save the report but keep working on the current view without saving subsequent changes under the same name.

Exporting the Chart as an Image

You can export a chart displayed in the report to various image formats.

To download the chart:

1. Right-click on the chart.

2. Select the image format you want to export:

   • PNG

   • JPG

   • SVG

The chart will be downloaded in the selected format and resolution.
