Users can now view notifications and alerts based on predefined conditions and events, ensuring they stay informed about important updates and changes.
Scope of Notifications and Alerts
Notifications and alerts will apply to the following functional areas:
Cluster Management
Subscription Management
Credit Management
User Management
Key Highlights
Delivery Channels: Notifications will be displayed through the bell icon and notifications in the Monitor tab. Users will also be notified via email.
Role-Based Notifications:
Notifications will be tailored according to user roles and responsibilities. The roles receiving notifications include:Account Owner
Account Admin
Kyvos Admin
Kyvos Billing
Kyvos Support
Kyvos DevOps
Viewing Email notifications
From Kyvos 1.6.0 release onwards, the Kyvos SaaS portal now supports email notifications, ensuring users are well-informed about system updates and changes within the application through email notifications. This feature will apply to the following functional areas:
Cluster Management
Subscription Management
Credit Management
User Management
Viewing notifications and alerts
The Notifications panel under the Monitor section provides users with a centralized view of all system alerts and updates related to cluster activities and other critical events. It helps users stay informed about actions such as cluster deployments, deletions, and other key operations within the Kyvos environment. Notifications are categorized by severity and time, ensuring better tracking.
To view notifications, perform the following steps.
On the navigation bar, click Monitor. This will take you to the notifications dashboard.
The panel displays notifications from the last 30 days. Each notification includes:
Type of Event (e.g., Cluster Deleted, Cluster Deployment Successful)
Cluster Name and associated Subscription
User who performed the action
Timestamp of the event
Click Show Unread Only at the top-right to filter and view only unread notifications.
Click the Mark All As Read option to clear unread statuses in bulk.
Understand Notification Icons
Black Bell Icon: Standard notification
Orange Bell Icon: Warning or critical event
Bell Icon Functionality
All unread notifications related to the SaaS application will be visible under the bell icon. Any notifications triggered through banners or flags will also be accessible here. Notifications will be grouped by timeframes: Today, Yesterday, This Week, This Month, and This Year for easy navigation and tracking.
