Starting data analysis with Web-Based Kyvos Dialogs

To start your conversational analytics with Kyvos Dialogs, you can use an existing semantic model, which can be modified at any time during the process.

  1. On the Home page, click Start Data Analysis Journey.

    Alternatively, in the toolbar menu, click Dialogs.

  2. Click New Chat to start the conversation. Alternatively, add (//) as a prefix to the keyword. For example, //Show Profit.

  3. To change the semantic model, click the down arrow and then click Change Model.

    From the Change Semantic Model dialog box, select the semantic model and click Change. On the confirmation dialog, click Continue.

    The predefined questions related to the selected semantic models are displayed.

Note

The predefined questions are displayed only when the key elements are defined in Conversational Analytics Metadata.

  1. Clicking on these questions instantly generates the answers, further streamlining your analysis.

Tip

For quick assistance with using Kyvos Dialogs, a set of tips is displayed. Click the tips icon ( ) and read the instructions.

  1. Alternatively, to add a query manually, enter your query in the input box and click the Submit Query button ().

Note

You can also use the microphone option (image-20241107-090612.png) to speak your query, and it will be automatically entered into the input box for you.

You can execute commands, such as questions about the semantic model or other topics excluding business-related questions.

  1. To modify your input visualization according to your business requirement, use the additional options.

  2. To save your chat session click Save. The Save dialog box is displayed.

    1. Click Add Workbook. The Add Workbook in ROOT dialog box is displayed. By default, the workbook is added to the Root folder. You can also add a new folder to save your chat session instead of saving it in the Root folder. To do this, click Add Folder. A new folder will be created outside the Root folder.

    2. Add a unique name in the Workbook Name text box and click Add. The workbook will be added to the folder. After saving the workbook, the chat session will display in the Recent pane.

  3. To create a copy of the chat session, click the Save as option to save the chat.
