Configuring Load Balancer
You can now modify the Load Balancer configuration by switching between different load balancers if you have the required permissions.
For example, when Load Balancer L1 is currently configured and you want to switch to Load Balancer L2, then, provided that the necessary permissions and configurations are in place:
Entries for WP and KM health check paths and nodes will be added to the backend group/instance group of the new Load Balancer L2.
Entries for WP and KM nodes will be removed from the backend group/instance group of the old Load Balancer L1.
If no load balancer (e.g., LB L1) is currently in use, then while configuring a new load balancer, the removal step for entries from the old load balancer will be skipped.
To configure a Load Balancer, perform the following steps.
On the navigation pane, click Kyvos and Ecosystem> Nodes and Services > Overview.
On the Overview page, you will see the number of nodes for Kyvos Core Services and the number of service instances (BI Server, Query Engine, and Web Portal) configured for the Kyvos cluster.
Click Configure Load Balancer. The Load Balancer Configuration dialog box is displayed.
Enter your Kyvos Manager password.
Click Save. The Load Balancer details will be saved.
