Cross Region Disaster Recovery for all clouds

This section describes the cross-region disaster recovery setup, requirements, and workflow for Kyvos across all supported cloud platforms.

Disaster recovery (DR) is the ability of the product to restore access a working fully functional Kyvos cluster after a disaster occurs in a region, whether natural or caused by human action (or error).

Kyvos offers disaster recovery of its components in all clouds by choosing the recovery options available for respective services in all Clouds.

Note

  • Disaster Recovery is applicable only when High Availability is enabled during the deployment of the primary cluster.

  • Disaster Recovery in all clouds is only supported when an External Postgres Repository is used for Kyvos.
