Installing and configuring the Kyvos Excel Add-in
This section details how to install and configure the Kyvos Excel Add-in.
Prerequisites
To use the Kyvos Excel Add-in, you must have the KyvosExcelAddin v1.msi file. To download, click here.
The public OIDC configuration is required to use this authentication type.
See the section OIDC Settings for Public Client at the OIDC based external authentication for Kyvos Web Portal page.Before creating a Kyvos Excel Add-in OAuth connection, add the http://localhost:9999/kyvos-oauth-callback URL to the public IDP Sign-in redirect URIs.
Installing the Kyvos Excel Add-in
To install the Kyvos Excel Add-in Installer, perform the following steps.
Double-click the Kyvos Excel Addin.msi file. The Welcome to the Kyvos Excel Add-in Wizard displays.
Click Next. By default, the Kyvos Excel Add-in will install to the Kyvos Excel-Addin folder. Click Browse if you want to change the folder.
Click Next to begin the installation.
Once the installation is complete, click Close to exit the installer.
Configuring the Kyvos Excel Add-in
To configure the Kyvos Excel Add-in in Excel, perform the following steps.
Right-click any menu bar item, such as View and select Customize the Ribbon.
On the Excel Options dialog box, click Add-ins.
Navigate to the Manage option and select the Excel Add-in option from the list.
Click Go. The Add-ins dialog is displayed.
Click Browse to select the KyvosExcelAddin64.xll file.
Select the file and click Ok. The Kyvos Excel add-in will now be displayed in the Add-ins dialog box.
Select the Kyvos Excel add-in, then click Ok. The add-in will appear on the Excel menu bar at the top center.
Uninstalling the Kyvos Excel Add-in
Uninstall the Kyvos Excel Add-in via the Control Panel.
Navigate to the Control Panel.
On the Control Panel page search for Kyvos Excel Add-in.
Select the program and click Uninstall. The Kyvos Excel Add-in will be uninstalled from your system and from Excel workbook.
