Automated Deployment on Azure using Template Specs
This section describes how to automatically deploy a Kyvos cluster on Azure using Azure Template Specs to create and configure the required resources and services from the Azure portal.
In the automated deployment method, use the Azure Template Specs on the Azure portal to automatically create all the resources and services required for installing and deploying the Kyvos cluster in your Azure environment.
Note
The encryption key rotation policy for secure deployments is enabled by default. However, you can alter the default settings if needed. To do this, navigate to the Azure portal, select Keyvaults, then Keys. Here, you will find the Rotation Policy option. These changes are applicable to both Azure Enterprise and Azure Template Specs.
If Web Portal high availability is enabled or if a non-peered network exists between Kyvos and Databricks, the Kyvos cluster will be deployed with an Application Gateway. .
Tip
Before proceeding with the installation and deployment,
Download the Azure Installation Files folder and keep all the requisite files handy during deployment.
To deploy with Template Specs, ensure that you have all the prerequisites.
