Cache Files Compression

This property presently controls database metadata caching.  Compression of metadata files makes data unreadable and improves performance.  Metadata in uncompressed form is readable.

Default: enable

Example: CACHE_FILES_COMPRESSION=Enable

Data Cache Purge Time (minutes)

This property decides the time in minutes after which cached data should be automatically deleted.  Specify zero (no purging) or a positive integer.

Default: 30

Example: CACHE_PURGE_TIME=30

Data Cache Purge Frequency (minutes)

This is the time in minutes after which the data cache purge thread will execute to check for expired cache data files and purge those.  Specify zero (purge thread not to execute) or a positive number.

Default: 30

Example: CACHE_PURGE_FREQUENCY=30
