Styling Layout of Counter Charts
Applies to: Kyvos Reporting
You can configure layout and style settings at the individual chart level within the Ad Hoc Report Designer.
Setting Layout and Styles for Counter Charts
Add a Counter Chart:
On the Chart tab, set Chart Type to Counter.
Click Layout Settings to open the customization panel.
Customize Chart Elements:
Configure the position, size, and color of:
Measure Name
Measure Value
Micro Chart
You can also specify font size for each placeholder.
If no font size is defined, the value is auto-scaled based on the parent container.
Show Dimension:
Enable or disable visibility of the dimension member value.
Specify:
Dimension Height (%)
Dimension Color
Style Properties:
Define additional formatting for the counter chart:
Font Family (applies to chart title, point labels, and tooltips)
Border and Background Color
Graph Background Colors (for multiple Y-axis charts, applied in sequence)
Use hexadecimal color codes to define a custom color palette via the color picker.
Preview:
Changes made in Layout Settings are immediately reflected in the Preview section.
Use Template Settings:
Check Use Template Settings to apply default layout and style from the ICT file.
Example Use Case
You can design a styled counter chart to show average sales amount by product using custom layout, colors, and micro chart indicators.
Layout settings and styling applied in the Ad Hoc Report Designer are also retained in exported reports.
