Groups Settings
Applies to: Kyvos Reporting
Use the Group Settings tab to control grouping behavior in Ad hoc Report Wizard and Smart View. These settings define how groups are created, displayed, and ordered, along with enabling advanced grouping options such as ranking and conditional display.
Groups Tab
Property | Description |

Show Groups | Controls the visibility of the Groups tab. When selected, the Groups tab is displayed on Ad hoc Report Wizard or Smart View. |
Initial Number of Groups | Specifies the number of grouping levels available by default when Ad hoc Report Wizard or Smart View is opened. |
Show Option to Rank Groups | Enables options to rank grouped records based on a selected field value. For example, groups can be ordered in descending order of a measure such as Total Sales, where groups with higher values appear first. |
Show When | Enables the Show When option, allowing users to define conditions that must be met for a group to be displayed in the report. |
GroupBy Options | Specifies the data types that can be used for grouping. Supports grouping by Date, Number, and Character fields. Select the options to make them available to users. |
