Publishing the Report
Applies to: Kyvos Reporting
When you publish a report, Kyvos Reporting generates and saves its output for future use. Published outputs open faster because the report does not need to be regenerated each time.
You can access a published report output from the All Published screen or from the Report List screen for the selected category.

Best Practices
Always set an expiry date to avoid occupying unnecessary server space.
Backup important reports before they expire to retain access to historical data.
Use Private for sensitive reports and Public only when sharing is required.
Publishing Actions
PUBLISH NOW: Publishes the report and redirects you to the Report Status screen to view the result (success or failure).
PUBLISH IN BACKGROUND: Publishes the report in the background, allowing you to continue working. You are redirected to the Report Execution Status screen to monitor execution status of all background reports.
Notes
Published reports are stored on the Kyvos Reporting Report Server.
When requested from the Published Reports list, the saved output is displayed instead of regenerating the report.
If the report is associated with a workflow (approval process):
Approvers see the report on the Saved Reports List screen immediately.
Non-approvers see it only after approval.
