Single-click Upgrade for Kyvos Manager and Kyvos
You can easily upgrade both Kyvos and Kyvos Manager applications to a newer version by simply selecting the required version from the Kyvos Manager portal.
This is applicable to all environments.
Important
From Kyvos 2026.1 onwards, Kyvos Manager will back up of the Kyvos repository using pg_dump instead of creating an RDS snapshot backup during upgrade.
A symlink sudo ln -s /etc/ssl/certs/ca-bundle.crt /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt must be created as a part of the setup to ensure compatibility with gcp cloud storage access.
To perform single-click, perform the following steps.
On the navigation pane, click Application Update > Upgrade.
On the Upgrade page, provide the information as:
To see upgrade history, click the Actions menu (...) and select the View History option.
Important
If the Kyvos Manager is blocked due to an external repository backup failure and asking for an external repo backup state, refer to the Recovering from external repository backup failure section.
