Conversational analytics using AI Space

This section explains how to perform conversational analytics in Kyvos using AI Space (recommended), enabling users to ask natural-language questions across multiple semantic models and receive insights. It outlines requirements, interaction patterns, and steps to initiate an AI Space conversation, empowering flexible data exploration and analysis without needing specialized technical skills.

Important

The user interaction for Kyvos Dialogs is the same in both the Web and Desktop interfaces. However, the screenshots for the Kyvos Dialogs Desktop and Web applications may differ. For demonstration purposes, the Web-based user interface is used to illustrate the functionality of Kyvos Dialogs.

To start conversation analytics using the AI space, perform the following steps.

  1. To select the required AI space, click the list and select the AI Space button. The latest created and used AI Space is displayed in the list.

  2. The predefined questions related to the selected AI Space are displayed. Clicking on these questions instantly generates the answers, further streamlining your analysis.

    Alternatively, to add a query manually, enter your query in the input box and click the Submit Query button ().

  3. To change the AI Space, click the Select Source Icon (), and then click … More to change the AI Space. The Change AI Space dialog is displayed. Select the required AI Space and click Change.

  4. To modify your input visualization according to your business requirement, use the additional options.

  5. To save your chat session click Save. The Save dialog box is displayed.

    1. Click Add Workbook. The Add Workbook in ROOT dialog box is displayed. By default, the workbook is added to the Root folder. You can also add a new folder to save your chat session instead of saving it in the Root folder.

    2. To create a copy of the chat session, click the Save as option to save the chat.

  6. Click Actions menu () and perform the following actions.

    • Add // to start a new conversation.

    • View usage help instructions.

  7. To modify your input visualization according to your business requirement,

    1. To view more details on the selected AI Space, click the following:

      1. View the selected AI Space objects: You can view the semantic models linked to that AI Space, open the semantic model in the designer page, or temporarily remove the semantic model by selecting or deselecting them by clicking the checkmark.

      2. Select the Default AI space: Click this open to make the selected space as the default space. When you start a new conversation, the AI space is displayed by default.

      3. Define metadata for the AI Space: Click the semantic model to define the column metadata and business context, query instructions and summary instructions.

    2. Expand or collapse the Visualization and Key Insights.

    3. Click the Actions menu (…) next to the Save button and perform the following actions:

      • Share: Click this option to share the chat via email, link, grant permissions, and view email history

      • Export as PDF: Click this option to export the chat as PDF.

      • Chat Settings: Click this option to expand or collapse the chat.

      • Set as landing page: Click this option to set the chat at the home page for quick navigation.

      • Clear chat: Click this option to delete the chat.
