Managing chat sessions in Kyvos Dialogs
This section describes how to manage chat sessions in Kyvos Dialogs, including creating, resuming, saving, renaming, copying, and deleting sessions. It explains the user interface and actions for organizing conversations, maintaining context, and reusing insights, enabling more efficient, structured conversational analytics within the platform.
Important
The user interaction for Kyvos Dialogs is the same in both the Web and Desktop interfaces. However, the screenshots for the Kyvos Dialogs Desktop and Web applications may differ. For demonstration purposes, the Web-based user interface is used to illustrate the functionality of Kyvos Dialogs.
Starting a new chat session
You can start a new chat at any point in time.
To start a new chat, perform the following:
Click the Sidebar icon ()to expand the menu items. The menu items are displayed.
Click New Chat. In the right pane, you can start a new conversation. For more information, see the Starting Data Analysis with Desktop-Based Kyvos Dialogs section.
Opening a chat session
You can start a new chat at any point in time.
To start a new chat, perform the following:
Click the Sidebar icon () to expand the menu items. The menu items are displayed.
Click Open Chat. The Open Chat Session dialog is displayed.
Select the chat that you want to open and click Apply. The select chat session is now open. You can continue with the previous conversation. For more information, see the Starting Data Analysis with Web-Based Kyvos Dialogs section.
