Defining metadata for AI Space and semantic model in Kyvos Dialogs
This section explains how to define semantic model metadata within Kyvos Dialogs. It describes the steps for selecting an AI Space or semantic model, opening the metadata pane, and specifying business context, tags, and metadata attributes at runtime to support accurate query interpretation and conversational analytics.
Important
The user interaction for Kyvos Dialogs is the same in both the Web and Desktop interfaces. However, the screenshots for the Kyvos Dialogs Desktop and Web applications may differ. For demonstration purposes, the Web-based user interface is used to illustrate the functionality of Kyvos Dialogs.
Features not applicable to the desktop application are explicitly listed.

Your query input is displayed based on the metadata of the semantic model. You can now define metadata either through Kyvos dialogs or from the Semantic Model Designer page. Defining metadata in Kyvos dialogs lets you specify it at runtime.
To define the metadata of the semantic model, on the Dialogs page, when you select AI Space or a semantic model, click the AI Space or semantic model list > Define Metadata. The pane lets you specify the metadata for the semantic model.

If the metadata for the semantic model is not specified, you will get a message to specify the metadata.
The following pane is displayed where you can specify the metadata for the semantic model.
In the Define Metadata pane, the Columns and Context tabs are displayed.
Click the column. Add the tags and specify the business context.
To specify the context for business, querying instructions, and summary instructions, click the arrow to expand the text box. enter the required instructions.
Click Save. You can view the selected metadata by clicking the three-dots actions menu. The selected metadata will now appear in the fields list.
