Preparing for the next Disaster Recovery

After restoring the system to the primary region, reconfigure replication to ensure it is ready for future DR scenarios.

1. Create Replicas of Data Resources: In Region-B (or another region such as Region-C), create replicas of the following resources from Region-A:

   1. S3 Bucket

   2. Secrets

   3. RDS for Kyvos Manager

   4. RDS for Kyvos

2. Configure Replication in Kyvos Manager: From the Replication Information page in Kyvos Manager:

   1. Configure the replicas created in the previous step.

   2. Validate the replication configuration.

Once the replicas are successfully configured and validated, the cluster is ready for disaster recovery in the region where the replicas are created.

Optional: you can perform disaster recovery again in the replica region to confirm that the DR configuration is functioning correctly.
