User Mapping

User Mapping

Applies to: Kyvos Reporting

When Kyvos Reporting is integrated with another application, you need to create an organization in Kyvos Reporting and add users to it with the required privileges and access rights. Host application users are then mapped to these Kyvos Reporting users.

If authentication is set as External Application or Host Application and no mapping is defined, a red dot appears before the user’s name.

Accessing User Mapping

  1. Go to Navigate > Administration > Manage Users > Properties > Mapped User.

  2. The page displays a list of host organizations under the Kyvos Reporting Users list.

    • This is an expandable list.

    • Each user or role belongs to an organization.

To configure mappings for an organization, expand and select the organization.

Add a User Mapping

  1. Go to Organization > Properties > Mapped Users.

  2. In the Application Users entry box, specify the username used in the host application.

  3. Select the corresponding Kyvos Reporting User.

  4. Click Map.

When a host application user accesses Kyvos Reporting, they inherit the privileges of the mapped Kyvos Reporting user. The mapping information is saved automatically.

Edit a User Mapping

  1. Select the Application User entry.

  2. Choose a new Kyvos Reporting User from the drop-down list.

  3. Click Save to apply the changes.

  4. Click Discard to cancel changes.

Note
Depending on the organization settings, the entry boxes may appear as Application Role and Kyvos Reporting Role instead of users.
