You can configure the following default portal preferences for all users in a selected organization.

Default Database Connection

Select the database connection to run reports from the Select Database list.

Default Locale

Determines portal language and date format. Select the locale that applies when users log in to Kyvos Reporting.

Default Time Zone

Sets the time zone from which users access the application. Kyvos Reporting converts date and time fields to this time zone before generating reports. To use the machine's time zone, select Use My Browser Time Zone.

Note
Locale and time zone set in Preferences override those set at the organization level.

Default Portal Theme

Defines the portal look and feel. Options: Default, Dark, or Marigold.

Default Print Option

Choose whether PDF reports open in View mode or download automatically.

Default Report Format

Sets the default output format for reports. This applies in the Ad hoc Wizard and during report deployment from the Manage Categories and Reports page.

Default Ad hoc Template

Selects the ad hoc template preselected in the Ad hoc Wizard. The report layout and style depend on this template.

Recent Report Count

Specifies how many recently generated reports display on the My Reports page. Default is 10.

Working Folder

Sets a default folder to appear when users access folders. Helps users quickly reach frequently used folders.

Entity Types

Defines which entity types (such as Query Object, Analytical Object, or Report) are preselected under the Explorer tab.

Entity Type Properties

Specifies which properties appear by default for the selected entity types under the Explorer tab.

My Default Connection

Sets a default connection for all users in the selected organization.
