Adding Dialogs bot in Microsoft Teams
This section provides instructions for adding the Dialogs application to Microsoft Teams for the first time and configuring it for use in group chat to enable real-time collaboration.
Adding the Dialogs bot in Microsoft Teams for the first time
Adding the Dialogs bot to Microsoft Teams is a one-time process.
To add the Dialogs Bot to Microsoft Teams, perform the following steps:
Sign in to Microsoft Teams.
In the left navigation pane, select Apps.
In the Apps pane, select Built for your org. The Dialogs application is displayed.
Select the Dialogs application. A dialog box appears displaying the application details. Review the information, and then select Add. A confirmation message is displayed once the application is successfully added.
Select the location where you want to use the Dialogs bot (a Teams channel or a personal chat).
Select Open. A welcome card from Kyvos Dialogs is displayed.
When accessing the application for the first time, users are prompted to sign in using their Microsoft Teams credentials. This is a one-time authentication process.
After successful sign-in, the Dialogs Bot is ready for use. The AI Spaces and semantic models available in your Kyvos environment are displayed and can be queried directly within Microsoft Teams.
Adding Dialogs bot in a group chat
To add Dialogs bot in Microsoft Teams in a group chat, perform the following steps.
In the group chat window, select the View and add participants icon.
Select Add agents and bots. A dialog box is displayed.
Select Dialogs from the list. The bot is added to the group chat.
To begin conversational analytics, type @Dialogs in the message box and press Enter.
You can now interact with Kyvos Dialogs within the group chat environment.
